Since 1905
Our History
Created in 1905, Karl Jung is a brand of hand tools for use in areas such as Gardening, Fruit, Viticulture and Construction. Pliers, scissors and technical knives are just a few of the pieces available in the brand portfolio, and many of them with patent registration.
With German know-how, Karl Jung pieces are thought out in detail, combining aesthetic care with the quality and efficiency of the product. Also the human component distinguishes these parts from other similar ones on the market, taking into account the attention to detail, the skilled workforce and the expertise of the team that creates, develops and produces.
1905
Founding of the forging by Mr. Carl Jung. Production of raw slabs for the industry of cutlery and tools.
1945
Reconstruction of the factory building and facilities.
1990
Acquisition of the company by Mr Dipl. Ing. Rainer Clauberg.
1993
Acquisition of RAUCHERKOPF® Forged Shears. Acquisition of the KUNDE® product line for gardening, horticulture and winemaking.
1998
Founding of the company Clauberg & Filhos Lda. In Braga / Portugal.
2002
Completion of new factory with forging in Valença / Portugal. Development of new hand tools for the construction industry, hand tools for metals, gardening, horticulture and viniculture.
2005
100 years – Anniversary of the company.
2015
